Decoct, 1~5g; powdered for oral administration or in pills and powders, each time 0.5~1g
Tonify yang, direct fire downward, relieve cold and pain, warm meridians
Impotence, cold uterus, cold pain in waist and knees, dyspnea due to kidney deficiency, floating yang, dizziness, red eyes, cold pain in heart and abdomen, vomiting and diarrhea due to deficiency-cold, cold hernia, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea
Contraindicated in yin deficiency with internal heat, internal excess heat, blood heat, and pregnant women
Cinnamon is the dried bark of Cinnamomum cassia. Usually peeled in autumn and air-dried.
